Altshuler Berzon Welcomes New Partner

Barbara J. Chisholm becomes a partner effective January 1, 2010

Altshuler Berzon LLP is pleased to announce a new partner, Barbara J. Chisholm.

Barbara (BJ) Chisholm joined Altshuler Berzon as an associate after finishing a judicial clerkship. She is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Howard University School of Law. Prior to law school, she worked in the Russian Far East for five years, where she was the founder and director of the Russian Far East branch of ISAR, an organization working on environmental and human rights issues. She currently serves as an advisor to the Executive Committee of the Labor and Employment Section of the California State Bar. She is also the Chair of the Board of Directors of Pacific Environment and the Program Chair for the Bay Area Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the AIDS Legal Referral Panel.
