Altshuler Berzon Founding Partner Honored by California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc.

Fred Altshuler receives the Community Leadership Award for pioneers of social change

Fred Altshuler was honored by California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. on October 16, 2011 at the organization's 2011 Tardeada. A former CRLA board member, Mr. Altshuler received the Community Leadership Award for pioneers of social change in recognition of his groundbreaking legal work.

Fred Altshuler was a Directing Attorney for California Rural Legal Assistance from 1969 to 1973. He later co-founded the law firm now known as Altshuler Berzon LLP, where he litigated many important cases on behalf of workers, labor organizations, environmental groups, and others. He retired from the active practice of law in 2010 and is now Founding Partner Emeritus.
