Former Summer Associates Accept Clerkship Offers from U.S. Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and District Court.

Altshuler Berzon LLP congratulates its former Summer Associates on accepting judicial clerkship offers:

Gerry Sinzdak, an Altshuler Berzon Summer Associate in 2007 and a law clerk to Ninth Circuit Judge Marsha Berzon in 2008-09, has accepted a clerkship with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg for the 2011 October Term.

Brian Goldman, an Altshuler Berzon Summer Associate in 2009, has accepted a clerkship with Ninth Circuit Judge Stephen Reinhardt for 2010-11.

Stephen Hayes, an Altshuler Berzon Summer Associate in 2009, has accepted a clerkship with Ninth Circuit Judge Marsha Berzon for 2010-11.

David Seligman, an Altshuler Berzon Summer Associate in 2009, has accepted a clerkship with U.S. District Judge Patti Saris from the District of Massachusetts for 2010-11.

Hunter Smith, an Altshuler Berzon Summer Associate in 2009, has accepted a clerkship with Ninth Circuit Judge Marsha Berzon for 2010-11.

The firm typically hires four or five summer associates each year who have completed at least two years of law school. Summer associates have work assignments similar to those of associates and also are invited to attend court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
